Nancy Michael

Senior Consultant

Nancy leads executive and management teams in the implementation of Mass Ingenuity’s enterprise performance management system for state government agencies. Her current clients include the New Mexico Department of Health, Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, and Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture.

In her role as Senior Consultant, she leverages her broad range of skills and accomplishments to enhance clients’ strategic and operational excellence through:

Prior to joining Mass Ingenuity, she served as Chief Product Officer and Founding Partner at The Climate Board, a start-up company in the climate change information and technology space. She led product development and established initial business operations including technology, marketing, sales, publications, and account management.

At Moody’s Analytics, Nancy served as a strategic innovation leader where she led a cross-functional team in conceiving and building B2B SaaS solutions for small business credit. She came to this role after eight months in Singapore where she led a turnaround and transformation project for the company’s Asia-Pacific business operation. Nancy also led the global Client Solutions team for the company’s Training and Certification division and headed Strategy and Marketing for the training and consulting businesses.

Previously, Nancy worked for over a decade as a consultant and analyst with Capital Performance Group. In this role she advised U.S. commercial banks, financial companies, regulators, and vendors on the industry’s strategic and marketing initiatives. She also led CPG’s research and analysis function and designed and developed many of the firm’s analytical tools.

Nancy has a BS in Economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with concentrations in Strategic Management and Legal Studies.
